Funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), the teach4TU project forms part of the Teaching and Media Literacy project group. Its motto is “Shaping a sustainable teaching-learning culture” (Lehr-Lern-Kultur nachhaltig gestalten). It contributes to the continued development of teaching quality in a number of ways: by offering needs-based training and advice on higher education didactics for lecturers; by supporting change processes in teaching in subject-specific and interdisciplinary academic expert groups; and by supporting the implementation of innovative teaching-learning concepts under the Good Teaching (Gute Lehre) innovation scheme. In addition, the teach4TU project has established Teaching Day (Tag der Lehre), an annual university-wide event for sharing information on teaching, and is in charge of the LehrLEO student teaching prizes awarded on that day.
