Motivation:
- Modern industrial production require its‘
systems to increase productivity, efficiency as well as autonomously adapt to changing tasks
and environments
- Integrating
AI technologies into the working systems of knowledge work and to enable continous learning based on imitation of human expert behavior provides
a promising approach
Content of the work:
- Investigate agentic AI for cognitive automation and assistance as part of production planning and control tasks as well as imitation learning strategies to enable robust and safe operation
- Conceptualize,
implementent and test state of the art approaches based on a demonstrator setup in the Learning Factory of IWF providing compute hardware, software frameworks and use cases
The thesis can be written in German or English.
