As a research assistant, I deal with various issues in the field of turbo component design. This includes preliminary design, numerical verification, and integration into performance calculations.
The current research project “StröSimH2” focuses on the design of turbomachines on the anode side of fuel cell systems. In particular, the focus is on the design of the recirculation fan, which feeds the unreacted hydrogen back into the fuel cell.
In the completed WindaB research project, the focus was on developing a fast, data-driven compressor preliminary design methodology for mechanical vapor compression. The aim of the model is to identify a suitable compressor architecture as part of a potential assessment.
