Career guidance and career planning

Start thinking about your future whilst you’re still studying: the Career Service at TU Braunschweig organises free workshops and training sessions not only for graduates, but especially for students. Female students can find additional opportunities for discussion and support through the 'Tailored Career' programme run by the Equal Opportunities Office. Female students studying mathematics, computer science, natural sciences and engineering can also take part in workshops, training sessions and excursions through the FEMnet project.

Academic leave

Life and a standard course of study do not always go hand in hand. That is why, in exceptional circumstances, you can take a break from your studies. Find out more about taking an academic leave

Mentoring

Mentors are here to help you with questions regarding your career plans, the early stages of your studies, or the transition from college to the workforce.  At TU Braunschweig, there are various mentoring programs, each tailored to different groups of interested students. These include, for example, KTW Mentoring, Mentor.ING, and Diversity Mentoring. The program coordinators are in regular contact with one another and will help you find the right mentoring program for you.
