Our summer courses have a long tradition: Every year we offer four to six week intensive courses in German language and culture during the summer semester break. In this courses you will learn German in small groups at up to four different language levels. You will have six lessons on each of the five weekdays, during which you will improve your grammar, pronunciation and vocabulary at the language levels A1 to C1. You will also learn a lot about German culture and regional studies.
The German courses will be accompanied by an extensive excursion and social programme. We will visit historic towns, museums and regional companies. We will see some of TU Braunschweig’s research facilities and have innovative research projects explained to us. During field trips we get more familiar with the nature and culture of the region. Fun activities and enough free time to explore Braunschweig on your own round off our programme.
The courses are aimed at students and young professionals from all over the world who want to use the semester break to improve their German. They are particularly suitable for all students from our partner universities who are planning to study at TU Braunschweig in the following semester.
The world is facing an enormous challenge in transferring aviation into a more sustainable and greener transport mode. Zero emission flights, including the wider mobility sector, are the current priority and require enormous research and development activities which can by no means be limited to classical aerospace disciplines. They require new interdisciplinary approaches, methods and teams covering all aspects from aerospace as well as areas such as materials and structures, chemistry, electrical engineering or even economics and social sciences. In our Summer School course, you can acquire both theoretical knowledge and practical project experience in the field to address these grand challenges, and to connect with fellow students from different countries.
