Diversity Days 2024 at TU Braunschweig

After two successful years with the "Diversity Day", the event concept is opening up to a larger audience in favour of knowledge transfer and to strengthen its participatory character. Between 28 May and 4 June, selected programme items from various TU Braunschweig stakeholders and external partners will be made available to the general public in a joint programme entitled "Diversity Days". The events will be decentralised - both on and off campus - and will include lectures, workshops and artistic contributions on the topic of diversity.

The week begins on 28 May with a panel discussion and a keynote speech by Prof. Dr Lorenz Narku Laing, Professor of Social Sciences and Racism Research at the Protestant University of Applied Sciences Bochum. The date marks Diversity Day, initiated by the Diversity Charter, in which organisations throughout Germany are participating.

Whether a lecture, evening event, workshop, discussion forum, concert or readings - you can expect a varied programme. The main theme is Focus 2024: "Racism-critical university", but contributions on other aspects of diversity are also welcome!

If you have any suggestions or further questions, please contact Anouk Almstedt (Strategic University Development, Diversity Policies, anouk.almstedt(at)tu-braunschweig) or Inga Stang (Press and Communication, focus on presidential events, i.stang(at)tu-braunschweig.de).

The Diversity Days 2024 are a cooperation between the Strategic University Development, Communication and Press Service and Equal Opportunities offices.
