In the field of incompressible machines, I am involved in research projects on, for example, fans, pumps, wind turbines, and sealing systems. The main opject is to increase the efficeny of the existing systems and also to design new ones. In teaching, I represent wind turbines as well as hydraulic machines and renewable energy technology for the master's programs. As part of these and other lectures, I conduct a variety of laboratory experiments with the students. Furthermore, I am the central contact for the work and questions of the office, personnel planning, energy management, and procurement at the institute. I am the central contact for many questions relating to the institute and the research projects of the research assistants. Supporting experimental work and coordinating our work in the workshop are also part of my responsibilities.
