In my role, I am responsible for the operation and further development of the PTF, FLYBOTS, DN400, LSRC, and V2500 test benches. A central part of my work is the supervision and coordination of experimental tests and the further development of the test bench infrastructure.
My scientific focus is on the interaction between the fan and the intake, as well as on propulsion concepts for future generations of engines. I combine experimental investigations with numerical analyses in order to gain a comprehensive understanding of fluid dynamics under realistic, including non-axial, inflow conditions.
In the past, I have been involved in the INFRa and CA3ViAR projects, among others. I am currently working on the FAME, EPIFAN, and SYNTRAC projects, which involve the further development of experimental and numerical methods for the analysis and design of modern fan and propulsion systems.
