I am part of the Modeling and System Analysis of Aero Engines working group, where I am investigating the influence of environmental data on aircraft engines as part of the PreJET project. To do this, I combine flight data from real flights with environmental data and use engine performance calculation methods to estimate the aerosols sucked in by the engine and its thermal load. The aim is to use this data to better understand and assess the damage processes in the engine's gas path.
I am also involved in programming test benches and measurement technology with LabVIEW.
