Stimulus and perception basics of the olfactory reference syndrome (ORS)
The central aim of this collaborative project between the Institut für Psychologie and the Institut für Pharmazeutische Biologie is to describe the olfactory reference syndrome (ORS) on various levels. In particular, the stimulus and perceptual bases of the symptoms are to be analyzed.
As a cooperation partner in the project, we provide support with various questions relating to the planning of the study and, in particular, develop methodological approaches for investigating the subjects' facial reactions to the presentation of various odor stimuli. We are also involved in the analysis of chemical odor profiles, which are created by the Institut für pharmazeutische Biologie.
