Scientific support for Avacon AG's e-Home Energy Project 2020 as part of the Energie Forschungs Zentrum Niedersachsen (EFZN). As part of the e-Home project, single-family homes are equipped with a PV system on the roof, an air conditioning system in the house and an electric car. Energy consulting was also offered. The aim of the project is to investigate the interaction of these individual components for the energy supply of the future.

The IPMB deals with questions of energy consistency and acceptance research. The scientific support of the project focuses on the subjectively perceived usefulness and perceived usability of the individual technologies. The consequences of using the respective technologies in specific situations are analyzed on the basis of a behavioral science approach. This is done in close cooperation with the project participants and the individual project partners.
