The VIDE! project is developing and testing a graphical display concept in the vehicle cockpit. Behavior-relevant information is graphically processed and merged in a single display so that the driver does not have to read and combine the information in different displays, as has been the case up to now. All relevant information is given to the driver in the form of behavior-relevant changes to the display or direct behavioral prompts. The interpretation of symbols required by conventional display systems is no longer necessary, which eliminates misinterpretations and the resulting incorrect behavior.
