The wear of aircraft engines is influenced, among other things, by the environmental conditions during operation. In order to understand the influences of the operating environment in more detail and to take them into account in wear modeling and prediction, data from various sources is integrated. These data sources provide information on parameters such as atmospheric dynamics and aerosol loading. This information is integrated into wear modeling as part of multivariate time series analysis using neural networks.
