Recycling, waste treatment and biomass use

The focus in this topic is set on the area of physical and biological preparation and treatment technologies for the material-specific waste utilisation and treatment. For handling this segment a new „Technikum“ (technical centre) was installed and the Lab was adjusted to the operation area of biotechnology.

Following subject areas are treated:

  • physical and biological preparation and treatment technologies
  • process monitoring of aerobe and anaerobe processes in particular regard to energy efficiency
  • minimization of used air and wastewater emissions
  • product development and quality assurance
