Last Saturday, the North Campus of the Technical University of Braunschweig was transformed into a vibrant festival grounds. From 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., the event drew numerous visitors and delighted them with a diverse program that offered something for everyone.
The large stage in the center of the festival grounds provided a platform for various bands and musicians and invited all visitors to dance and join in the festivities. The musical performances created an electrifying atmosphere throughout the day.
In addition to the music, there were numerous exhibition booths run by various university departments. These offered visitors interactive hands-on activities and provided information about current projects and research findings. Guests were also well catered to in terms of food and drink: various booths offered a wide selection of food and beverages that left nothing to be desired.
Of course, we were also there with our own booth and were able to introduce all visitors to what the University Sports Center has to offer. Anyone who stopped by our booth had the chance to try out the various games from the SportSpieleVerleih, such as badminton, spikeball, and a sporty version of horseshoes.
CampusGym had set up two challenging activities: 60 seconds of tug-of-war and 60 seconds of jumping jacks. Anyone who completed them won a three-month membership—and even got the fourth month for free!
The festival on the North Campus of the Technical University of Braunschweig was a resounding success, offering visitors a great mix of entertainment, athletic activities, and culinary delights. It was a day full of fun and camaraderie that will be remembered for a long time to come. We hope the event will take place again next year and that we’ll have the pleasure of welcoming you back!
