Technische Universität Braunschweig and the Technical University of Munich offer their researchers a comprehensive programm of support, starting at the level of doctoral candidates up to the level of independent professors. Further, the proposed TRR 277 AMC project is particularly committed to promoting early career researchers. This will be achieved through a combination of centrally coordinated funding of the participating universities for Institutional Activities and specific funding from TRR 277 for Additional Activities. This Additional Activities comprises seven packages of measures for doctoral researchers, postdoctoral researchers and newly appointed professors, as well as university students and secondary school students.
Gender equality, family support, and diversity are central strategic priorities of both Technische Universität Braunschweig and the Technical University of Munich. The goals are to permanently reduce the underrepresentation of women, implement family-friendly university structures and successfully integrate any gender in research, teaching and administration.
