Shape optimization for laminarization with suction bounday layer

Investigating the suction boundary layer as a function of Mach number using multi-fidelity CFD solvers to design an optimal airfoil with 80% laminar flow and characterizing the airfoil aerodynamic properties (i.e. pressure distribution, L/D ratio, transition location) as a function of the suction parameters (i.e. suction rate, suction location and length). Further, this task involves the assessment of transition prediction capability for surface curvature and roughness and turbulence characteristics of transonic flight
