Intended learning outcomes:
The students can handle complex technical equipment in physical chemistry. They are able to plan, carry out, evaluate and scientifically document complicated experiments, applying in-depth specialist knowledge on selected topics in physical chemistry. Through collaboration on current scientific issues, students are familiar with the working methods of university research and scientific practice and are proficient in the use of software for data analysis. They are able to document and reflect on their learning process and the acquired competences.
Course content:
Carrying out two experiments from subjects such as electrochemistry, spectroscopy or microscopy after an introductory briefing, writing reports; two-week scientific collaboration in a working group of the institute with written documentation of the results.
