Kowshik Srivatsan is a Research Associate whose work focuses on developing scientifically grounded machine learning methods to enhance traditional fluid dynamics models. His projects at the institute have involved analyzing large-scale Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV) data using dimensionality reduction and building multi-fidelity neural networks to improve the prediction of 2D airfoil lift and drag coefficients. He holds an M.Sc. in Computational Sciences in Engineering from TU Braunschweig and a B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering from Goa College of Engineering.
