On June 23rd 2025, the Alumni & Career Service of Technische Universität Braunschweig was a guest on Radio Okerwelle for the second time. The visit was organised by Luisa Goldgräbe, the German Scholarship Officer at TU Braunschweig, together with the Alumni Management and Communication Officers, Melanie Schaller and Maike Stelter.
With three alumni and five current Germany Scholarship holders, there were exciting tandem discussions in front of the microphone and mixing desk. The group was welcomed by Sabine Stegner (Radio Okerwelle office) and Claudia Sonntag (Okerwelle media educator), who provided a look behind the scenes of the regional broadcaster and expertly accompanied our contribution.
In alternating interviews, alumni and students discussed, among other things:
- Why is lifelong learning worthwhile?
- How can environmental protection and sustainability be communicated?
- What are the advantages of a Deutschlandstipendium scholarship?
- What prospects do part-time jobs open up - from tram driving to tutoring?
- How does TU Braunschweig's central alumni network connect graduates and students across disciplines?
