The interplay between superconductivity and ferromagnetism is a central topic in condensed matter physics with direct relevance to modern electronics. In these systems, not only the electron’s charge but also its spin is harnessed to create new functionalities, forming the basis of superconducting spintronics. In our research, we seek material combinations in which superconductivity remains robust against the exchange field of a ferromagnet, enabling the integration of the dissipation-free state of superconductors with the spin-polarized state of ferromagnets. On this topic, we collaborate with the Institute of Condensed Matter Physics.
