Brillouin Light Scattering (BLS) spectroscopy is a photonic technique based on the inelastic scattering of photons by magnons, widely used in spintronics and magnonics. The low-temperature BLS system enables space-, time-, and phase-resolved measurements of spectra of magnons (spin waves, the quanta of collective spin precessions in magnetically ordered media) and phonons (quanta of lattice vibrations) across a broad temperature range.
