Starting winter term 2025/26 the Institute of Data Science in Biomedicine at TU Braunschweig is looking for a

Student or research assistant (m/f/d)
for the administration of IT.

Contracts should be made out for at least one year, with the possibility of extension.

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Administration of server infrastructure, cluster (HPC), and networks
  • User management in Linux
  • Software installation and management in Linux and Windows
  • Administration of group work stations
  • Communication with GITZ, and other institutions

  • Linux and network expertise
  • Windows and Mac expertise is beneficial
  • reliability and availability as per agreement
  • independent work
  • openness to learn new things
  • longer term collaboration
  • good knowledge of English
  • proficiency in German is beneficial
