The module Electrochemical Storages Embedded in On-Board Power Systems covers the topics of electrochemical storages and electrochemical systems like fuel cells, batteries and double layer capacitors as well as their use in on-board systems of various vehicles like aircraft, ships and cars. The module will be tailored towards bachelor students of engineering, industrial engineering and adjacent subjects. The course will be held in English.
This new cross-faculty module is designed to empower you to advance the mobility transition (German: Verkehrswende). New storage technologies (batteries, supercapacitors, fuel cells) must be increasingly integrated into Vehicle types in the future. You will gain an understanding of these storage technologies and knowledge of on-board power systems for aircraft, cars, ships and satellites.
