Electroacoustics

First Lecture

The first lecture will take place on 09.11.2022, 13:15 - 16:30 (Online via StudIP).

Contents

Even though the coherences of the lecture are described in a mathematical way, the focus is put on applied learning as well as practice orientation. An excursion will be offered at the end of the term. The lecture goes along with a multitude of demonstrations and experiments and concentrates on the following topics:

  • Reflection and absorption
  • Sound propagation in canals and tubes
  • The human sense of hearing
  • Stereophony techniques
  • Transformer and converter principals
  • Microphones

  • Acoustic measurement techniques
  • Acoustic filtering techniques

All students are requested to register for the exam at the IfN. You can register via the StudIP group.
The password to enter the group can be requested from Jonas von Beöczy.

If you are planning to cancel your examination, it is necessary to deregister by informing Jonas von Beöczy or the secretariat (+49 531 391 - 2474) of the Institute for Communications Technology.
