The Gauss IT Center will be closed on Ascension Day in accordance with the university’s general closure schedule.
This means that on May 14, 2026, the services of the Gauss IT Center
(IT Service Desk, printing services, computer labs) will not be available. This applies to all computer and printing rooms at the Main Campus - Historic Main Building at Pockelsstraße 4, as well as the rooms at Hans-Sommer-Straße 65.
In case of urgent issues, a message can be left at the IT Service Desk at 0531 / 391-55555.
Das Gauß-IT-Zentrum schließt seine Pforten an Christi Himmelfahrt im Rahmen der allgemeinen Schließzeiten der Universität.
Dies bedeutet, dass am 14.05.2026 die Dienste des Gauß-IT-Zentrums
(IT-Service-Desk, Druckdienste, PC-Poolräume) nicht verfügbar sein werden. Dies betrifft die gesamten Rechner- und Druckerräume im Altgebäude Pockelsstraße. 4, sowie die Räume in der Hans-Sommer-Straße 65.
Bei akuten Störungen kann eine Nachricht unter der Nummer des IT-Service-Desk 0531 / 391-55555 hinterlassen werden.
