Human resource development aims to establish systematic processes for identifying, maintaining, developing and supporting the university staff’s health as well as their performance and learning potential. Concrete fields of activity are, for instance, the following:
Continuing education and further training; subject-specific training concepts and advice regarding suitable internal and external continuing education programmes.
Optimising recruitment and succession planning with the aim of optimising recruitment and identifying potential and career paths.
Occupational health management, which includes providing staff with support and advice on health topics, systematically monitoring the work environment for health risks and resources, and the development of social skills.
The Department also participates in a number of higher-level measures.
