The collaborative project "Bringing Light to Microelectronics (BRIGHT)" with its partners TUBS, LUH, Ostfalia and PTB will combine nitride chips and silicon CMOS chips into multi-functional chiplets, e.g. for optical neuromporphic computing. The official project start is April 1st, however the team is enthusiatic to start and already discussed their ideas in a first meeting.
