Social counseling serves as the first point of contact for personal, social, and financial difficulties that may arise during the course of study. We are available to all students and prospective students, as well as their parents. Social counseling is particularly open to students with disabilities or chronic illnesses, students with children, and students with a migration background.

•     Questions in preparation for studying,
•     Adaptations during studies and, if necessary, with regard to exams (“disadvantage compensation”),
•     Taking a break from or returning to studies during periods of illness,
•     How to behave in difficult situations (e.g., communicating with teachers or fellow students about special needs), etc.

In addition, internal and external university departments can also obtain information and advice on the topic of “studying with a disability.”
