Closure of the Study Service Centre on 09.01.2026

Due to extreme weather conditions, the Study Service Centre will be closed on Friday, January 9, 2026!
This decision has been made for the safety of all involved. We ask for your understanding and recommend that you pay attention to the latest weather reports.

Our current opening hours

Monday-Friday: 10 a.m.‒12 p.m. and
Tuesday and Thursday afternoons 2 p.m.‒4 p.m.
There are no opening hours in the afternoon before public holidays.

Please note the different opening hours and our available service offers!

Initial Contact by Telephone

The Study Service Call is available for initial information by telephone regarding application, studies and enrollment at +49 531 391 4321 during the following times:

Monday - Thursday: 9 a.m.‒4 p.m.

Friday and before public holidays: 9 a.m.‒1 p.m.

Available services

Student Office:

  • TUcard, exmatriculations: Daily
    Info-Desks 1-3
  • leaves of absence, special forms and certificates, name change/change notification, guest student status and Early Study, student finance advice: Daily

International House:

  • General counselling: Mo, Wed and Fri 10 a.m.-12 p.m. and Tues and Thurs 2-4 p.m.

    Please note:     Office hours on Tuesdays (10 a.m. to 12 p.m.) and Thursdays (10 a.m. to 12 p.m.) at the SC are canceled indefinitely.
    Replacement office hours     will be held at the International House on these two mornings:
