From 10th to 13th June, 15 CSE students and two supervisors took part in a trip to Hamburg as part of the curriculum. We visited renowned organisations such as New Work, Xing, Altair, Wärtsilä and the German Climate Computing Centre (DKRZ), where we gained valuable insights and practical knowledge through presentations and discussions.
Our students explored potential career paths and experienced exceptional hospitality. Outside of the official programme, we enjoyed the charm of Hamburg with a city tour, crossing the Old Elbe Tunnel and spending relaxing evenings. The great weather added to the experience.
Overall, the trip provided an excellent balance of theoretical knowledge and practical experience, enabling us to forge new connections. We would like to thank everyone who contributed to making this trip such a success!
