We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Student Assistant (HiWi) or thesis student (Master'thesis/studentenarbeit) to join an exciting research project on non-destructive testing of Li-ion/all-solid-state batteries.

The selected candidate will focus on the simulation of ultrasonic testing methods using COMSOL Multiphysics software.

Your Tasks

  • Develop and refine simulation models combining ultrasonic testing and all-solid-state batteries in COMSOL Multiphysics software • Analyze and interpret simulation data to evaluate structural integrity and performance • Prepare technical reports and presentations based on research findings

Requirements

  • Interest or basic knowledge in all-solid-state batteries and their defects • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with ultrasonic testing techniques • Experience with COMSOL Multiphysics, especially in battery simulation
