Feedback

Feedback is an effective tool for successful communication: it creates clarity, strengthens motivation and stimulates change processes.
Ideally, feedback supplements self-perception with as objective an external assessment as possible.
In the work context, feedback relates to the following aspects, for example:

  • Goals
  • Tasks
  • Procedures
  • Processes
  • Cooperation

Feedback can be positive and appreciative as well as critical - the decisive factor is always a constructive attitude.

Time for Feedback

Feedback unfolds its full effect when it is given regularly - both formally and informally - at different times. In order to establish an open feedback culture, it is important to integrate situational feedback into everyday life.

Simple methods such as 3W or STATE are suitable for structuring feedback. These methods and other tips for preparing and conducting feedback meetings can be found in the handout Feedback. Please also note our current events on this topic.

Take Feedback

A constructive approach to feedback involves not only giving feedback, but also actively asking for it and receiving it attentively.
