Coordination Centre of Gender and Diversity

A service provided by the Centre of Gender and Diversity

The Diversity Office—Student Support promotes student diversity at TU Braunschweig and serves as the central point of contact for students who encounter challenges and barriers in their studies. These challenges are as diverse as the students themselves and can arise from, among other things:

  •     physical or mental disabilities
  •     experiences of discrimination
  •     language barriers
  •     family responsibilities
  •     First Generation Students (FGS) / Care Leavers
  •     caring for family members
  •     situational stress
  •     chronic illnesses

… or any other challenge—we help break down barriers!

We provide information and advise you on topics such as organizing your studies, dealing with barriers, and what to do if you experience disadvantage or discrimination.
Diversity Mentoring offers you guidance during your studies. Here, you can receive support from other students in the same department or have the opportunity to support others yourself.
In the student networks LGBTIQ*@TU and BIPoC@TU, you can exchange ideas and network with other students in a safe space.
