David Anton completed his PhD in 2026 in the Division Data-Driven Modeling of Mechanical Systems of the Institute of Applied Mechanics at Technische Universität Braunschweig under the supervision of Prof. Henning Wessels. David Anton holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering (2016) and a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering (2020). He was awarded with the FAIR Data and Software Award Lower Saxony in the category dataset in 2024.
As a research assistant, he builds on his PhD research and is focusing on uncertainty quantification in model calibration and discovery. His other research interests include, but are not limited to, scientific machine learning and structural health monitoring.
