For the first time, doctoral students at TU Braunschweig have elected representatives in the university elections in January 2017. Together the representatives of the faculties form the Doctoral Council, in which the interests of the doctoral students are discussed across faculties in order to bring them into the committees of TU Braunschweig. For this purpose, the faculty representatives are represented in the Faculty Councils as advisory members and with an advisory member in the Senate.

To keep doctoral students up to date on what is being discussed, decided and planned for the future, the Doctoral Council would like to send out a newsletter once a semester.
