Research interests

In my research I deal with the simulation of the automotive market with regard to the market penetration of alternative powertrain technologies. The objective of my research is to identify efficient and effective transformation pathways in order to achieve economic and ecological objectives. Due to the inherent complexity and dynamics of the automotive market, decisions of optimal intertemporal allocation of measures are of utmost importance, so that I use approaches for decision support using simulation and optimization models.
