My research focuses on the management and control of production systems and closed-loop supply chains, with a particular emphasis on circular battery production in the automotive industry. I am especially interested in the economic and environmental interactions throughout the entire life cycle — from production through the usage phase to end-of-life. A growing research focus is also on the supply chain resilience and the use of AI-based methods in production planning. To analyze these issues, I use quantitative optimization and simulation methods.
