My research focuses on the sustainable transformation of the German aviation sector. The key area of interest is scenario-based planning for future energy carrier supply systems. Based on this, I analyse the environmental impact of various transformation pathways. Methodologically, I apply and further develop models and methods from mathematical optimisation and life cycle sustainability assessment. My research aims to provide robust scientific foundations to support decision-making and derive evidence-based recommendations.
