The topic of sustainability and the concept of Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) are becoming increasingly important in universities’ goal-setting and performance frameworks. However, these topics are rarely integrated into study programs in a comprehensive way and have not yet been well researched. For this reason, TU Braunschweig is striving to evaluate its study programs in order to identify potential opportunities and to raise greater awareness among both students and teaching staff regarding the aspects of sustainable development.
Teach4TUmorrow
The Teach4TUmorrow project lays the foundation for this initiative by supporting educators in creating courses that embody the principles of education for sustainable development.
