TU for Future

TU for Future – Hybrid Lecture Series on the Climate Crisis

The lecture series will take place in a hybrid format:

•     In-person lectures: Selected events will take place at TU Braunschweig (Room PK 4.3 in the Old Building). They will be recorded and made available on Stud.IP starting the following day.
•     Online lectures: Some lectures will take place exclusively online via Webex. The recordings will then be posted on Stud.IP.
•     Pre-recorded lectures: In addition, selected, pre-produced lectures will be available on Stud.IP during the event period and can be viewed at any time.

Attendance is not mandatory—all participants are free to decide whether to attend the lectures in person or online.

Students at TU Braunschweig can have the lecture series credited toward their interdisciplinary course requirements if the following conditions are met:

•     Participation in the online final test: Five questions will be asked for each lecture. The test will be available online from January 28 to February 7, 2027.
•     Completion: The test can be taken independently online within this time period.
•     Passing requirement: At least 50% of the total points must be earned.

Note: Since the 2025/26 winter semester, TU for Future can only be credited once toward the interdisciplinary pool. Therefore, it is not possible to receive credit again for multiple participations in later semesters.
