European Research Funding

We advise and support you with EU research proposals drawing on many years of experience supporting EU funding programmes. Our service is designed to support you in the development, application and management of projects in such a way as to ensure optimum project preparation and implementation. We offer:

individual research for project-specific funding programmes and other funding needs, such as conferences or guest researchers.
support with your research proposal: including obtaining the application documents, identifying suitable contact persons, proofreading the proposals with respect to clarity, and adapting them to the requirements of the funding programme.
advice on intellectual property rights in cooperation with the legal department.
support for ongoing projects: billing and contract matters, consortium agreements, reporting issues and support during meetings.

With the European Offices, the state of Lower Saxony has created advisory structures that aim to increase the participation of Lower Saxony's universities in European funding schemes through a wide range of support measures. The pages of the European Office of the BMBF for Horizon 2020 contain initial information for applicants on relevant funding measures, project types and instruments, application and review procedures, rules for participation and contract modalities. The European pages of the DAAD

An overview of the EU's educational programmes can be found on the DAAD's Europe pages. Erasmus+ supports guest lecturers and staff mobility in all areas of higher education (only available in German).

DAAD

The European Research Council (ERC) is an initiative of the European Commission to promote excellent scientists* and innovative research approaches. In an EU-wide competitive procedure, it awards individual grants for outstandingly distinguished scientists* and addresses them in three funding lines according to their personal career level.

The Research Services and EU Office of the TU Braunschweig supports you in all areas of application. On the following website you will find a lot of helpful information about the ERC funding.
