Julius Othmer has headed the Project House at TU Braunschweig since 2019. His work focuses on—among other areas—agile project management, innovation management, digitalization as a media-cultural transformation process, agile learning settings, and hybrid teaching and learning spaces. Julius Othmer is, among other distinctions, a Digital Learning Transfer Fellow of the Stifterverband; furthermore, acting as a peer advisor for the *Hochschulforum Digitalisierung* (University Forum on Digitalization), he advises higher education institutions on strategic considerations regarding education in a digitized world.
Anja Veckenstedt has served as Deputy Director of the Projekthaus since 2024. Among other duties, she oversees the work of the Projekthaus’s project-sponsoring body and bears overall responsibility for the administration and implementation of funding programs, as well as for the strategic direction and development of the team.
Anja studied economics in Germany and the USA (holding a *Dipl.-Kffr.* and an MBA). She brings over 15 years of experience in project and product management, as well as strategy and corporate development; most recently, she worked for a major US corporation as a Partner to the Executive Management, focusing on the development of new business areas and the establishment of effective international organizational structures.
Johanna Hammel has served as a Project House Assistant since April 2026. She holds a degree in Transport and Logistics Management and previously worked at the ICTV at TU Braunschweig as a Project Administration Officer, specializing in controlling. She brings two years of experience in project and administrative management within a university setting.

Jeannine Methner has served as a Team and Executive Assistant at the Projekthaus since March 2026. A trained administrative specialist, she brings over 15 years of experience in academy and project management. She gained this experience working at IT systems integrators and a management consultancy.
Fabienne Nebel is a certified Office Management Specialist and has been working as a Team and Executive Assistant at the Projekthaus since 2019. She completed her vocational training in office management in July 2019 at TU Braunschweig—specifically within the Press and Communications Office—and immediately subsequently assumed her assistant position at the Projekthaus.
Alice Altissimo has been a member of the Project House team since 2022. She guides strategic development processes and projects—spanning the strategic fields of action of TU Braunschweig—from the initial concept through to their integration into the university structure. Her primary areas of focus include the organization and facilitation of participatory strategy and change processes (including "Circles"), as well as project management. Furthermore, in both a consultative and operational capacity, she is involved in securing third-party funded projects. She studied European Studies and Cultural Studies in Osnabrück, Frankfurt (Oder), and Wrocław, and has worked in (international, digital) teaching and in national and international research within the field of social and organizational pedagogy.
Michael Beiderwellen is a media didactician and administrative scientist (MBA). Through collaborative development, he designs conceptually innovative, technology-supported teaching and learning scenarios and implements them in practice. One of his thematic focal points is the development of AI tools for teaching—for instance, through the utilization of large language models (LLMs). He possesses several years of practical experience in developing digital (including immersive) teaching and learning environments across various public educational institutions. Furthermore, he has accumulated several years of project experience within the higher education sector.

Madita Berg-Olvermann holds a PhD in Work and Organizational Psychology and has served as an Innovation Manager at the Projekthaus since early 2025. She organizes and facilitates "Circles" and coordinates development processes and projects aligned with TU Braunschweig’s strategic fields of action. Currently, her primary focus lies in improving internal processes. Madita is deeply passionate about interdisciplinary and international collaboration. After completing her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at TU Braunschweig, she earned her Master’s degree at Lund University in Sweden and worked at the Centre of Excellence for Transformative Agribusiness at the University of Lincoln in New Zealand. Most recently, she worked as a trainer for action-oriented skills training at the Chair of Work, Organizational, and Social Psychology at TU Braunschweig, where she was involved in various projects.
Alicia Bleyer is a trained media designer and has been a member of the Project House team since June 2025. She brings several years of practical experience to the role and is responsible for the creative implementation of a wide variety of media formats—ranging from print to digital. In the field of public relations, she strengthens our external image and ensures a consistent design aesthetic through her creative expertise.

Pamela Bogdanow is an educational scientist, a member of the Lab for Innovative Degree Program Development (LISe), and has been working at the Projekthaus since 2016. Furthermore, she supports the University Executive Board in securing third-party funding for projects in the field of innovative teaching, as well as in the concrete implementation and evaluation of innovative project initiatives. In both advisory and operational capacities, she is involved in working groups and in the drafting of future-oriented concepts. In addition to exploring innovative teaching and learning scenarios within the context of (hybrid) learning spaces, her work focuses on strategies for facilitating learning processes and fostering competence orientation within the higher education sector. Pamela brings to her role over 20 years of experience in teaching and research, as well as experience serving as a visiting professor in the fields of media education and school and curriculum development. Her portfolio also encompasses communication and conflict training, creative-pedagogical approaches, and systemic coaching.
Stefan Böhme works as a Product Owner at the Media Lab. He holds a PhD in Media Studies with a focus on Computer Science and brings over 15 years of experience in higher education didactics—most recently as a research group leader, lecturer, and founder of an EdTech startup.
Dr. Sophie Domann holds a doctorate in Educational Sciences and works at the Lab for Innovative Study Program Development. Previously, she coordinated the collaborative project Co³Learn and implemented formats for student collaboration in digital, hybrid, and in-person teaching and learning settings. Her work is shaped by advanced training in coaching, Scrum, and organizational development, and she contributes expertise in the fields of participatory teaching, digitalization, and higher education didactics.
Anika Düring is a Business Lawyer (LL.M.). She is a member of the Excellence Lab’s core team and organizes and facilitates its Circles. Anika guides development processes and projects—spanning the strategic fields of action at TU Braunschweig—from the initial concept through to their integration into the university structure. Her primary areas of focus are the organization and facilitation of participatory strategy and change processes, as well as project management. Furthermore, she possesses extensive experience in quality assurance for academic programs and teaching, the coordination of funded projects, and the development of competency-based degree programs.
Caroline Gröschner holds a PhD in Education and has been working at the Project House’s Future Skills Lab since January 2026. She develops and facilitates courses for the interdisciplinary module "What to Do with Media" and engages in conceptualizing both teaching and the university institution itself through the lens of future skills.
Previously, as a research associate in the field of Education at TU Braunschweig and the University of Hamburg, she gained extensive experience in university-level teaching. Her key areas of focus included, among others, governance within the education system, social inequality in educational contexts, and youth-oriented civic education and participation with a view toward the future and intergenerational relations.
Dr. Jule Hillgärtner directs the Science & Art Lab at TU Braunschweig. Previously, she served for ten years as Director of the internationally renowned Kunstverein Braunschweig. Jule studied Theater, Film, and Media Studies as well as Art Education in Frankfurt am Main, where she also completed her doctorate on war reporting. She has curated exhibitions at venues including the F/Stop Festival in Leipzig (2010) and has held positions at the MMK and the Kunstverein in Frankfurt (2012/13), as well as at the Academy of Arts (Akademie der Künste) in Berlin (2013/14). Concurrently, she taught at the HfG Offenbach and Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main. She currently holds a teaching appointment at the HBK Braunschweig. Jule serves on numerous juries; for instance, from 2020 to 2023, she was a member of the extended acquisition committee for the Federal Collection (Sammlung des Bundes), where she initiated numerous decisions reflecting a diverse and forward-looking acquisition policy.
Maike Kempf holds an M.A. in Media Studies and has worked at the Projekthaus since 2016. As a member of the Teaching and Media Literacy team, she is responsible for conceptualizing the interdisciplinary module "Was mit Medien" (Working with Media) and for conducting media literacy programs for students. With a focus on "future skills" and the diverse ways media is used in everyday life, Maike primarily designs digital event formats for students aimed at fostering key competencies and promoting a proficient, conscious approach to media engagement within increasingly digitized professional environments.
Tina Kuczewski holds an M.A. in Media and Cultural Studies and worked for several years in project coordination within a research environment. She has been a member of the TU Braunschweig Project House team since 2026.
Within the team, she primarily supports the Future Skills Lab in organizing and implementing events, and contributes to the Emerging Tech Lab by assisting with the planning of the University:Future Festival.
She finds it particularly exciting to provide students and educators with a shared space for networking and to collaborate on launching new, forward-looking formats.
Christine Linne is an educator and learning environment designer specializing in digital teaching and learning at the Media Lab. Drawing on many years of experience in developing digital teaching and learning environments for (art) universities, schools, and non-formal learning settings, she contributes her expertise as an educational methodologist and instructional designer to the agile team. Her aim is to sustainably enrich teaching, learning, and working at TU Braunschweig through the appropriate application of suitable media technologies.
Neele Mansfeld serves as Project Manager for the collaborative project *Campus in Transition* and has been a member of the Project House team since March 2026. She works in close coordination with the two other project sites as well as the relevant committees to implement this transformation initiative. Neele studied Language Learning Research in Hamburg and also holds a Master of Business Administration. She brings over 15 years of management experience from her work in both the university and NGO sectors, having worked in Germany, Spain, and Brazil.
Veronika Mayer-Szeimies holds an M.A. in Media Studies and has been working at the Projekthaus since 2015. Veronika’s work focuses primarily on online-based teaching and learning. From a technical-didactic perspective, she addresses the strategic and future-oriented development of teaching and learning platforms, as well as their integration into a modern university IT infrastructure. She is also responsible for the Stud.IP support team. As a member of the Projekthaus’s project management team, Veronika focuses on topics such as New Work, infrastructure for agile working, and diversity. Prior to joining the Projekthaus, she conducted teaching projects in the field of Gender Studies.
Michael Meyer holds a PhD in Business Informatics and is a Design Thinking trainer with a Master’s degree in Media Technology. Since November 2024, he has been a member of the Projekthaus team, working on the establishment of the Emerging Tech Lab. His work focuses on the early identification, evaluation, and integration of new technologies to enhance teaching and learning, as well as to bolster innovation capabilities within higher education institutions. Michael also serves as a lecturer at the Institute of Business Informatics at TU Braunschweig.

Insa Miller holds an M.A. in Media Studies and English Studies and has been working at [hive] since 2020, where she is responsible for the areas of Digital Assessment, Stud.IP, and DigitalSkills@Work. Insa’s work focuses primarily on coordinating and advising instructors regarding digital examinations, testing and supporting the Stud.IP platform, and designing professional development programs for working professionals. Prior to her university studies, she worked in public relations as a trained Media Designer (Digital and Print).
Ariane Pedt holds an M.A. in Media Education and has worked at the Projekthaus since 2018. As a member of the Teaching and Media Education team, she is responsible for the interdisciplinary module "Was mit Medien" (Working with Media) and for organizing media education initiatives for students. Jasmin Piep is an educational scientist (Dipl.-Päd.) and a member of the Lab for Innovative Degree Program Development, where she draws upon her more than ten years of experience in higher education teaching to support degree programs in the further development of their curricula. Jasmin’s thematic focus lies in competence-oriented degree program development, as well as in providing guidance and consultation regarding future-oriented concepts and teaching-learning scenarios. Furthermore, Jasmin is a trained systemic consultant and, in her capacity as a trainer and educator, possesses extensive experience in process facilitation, advising academic staff, and moderating group settings.
Philipp Preuß holds an M.A. in Media Studies and focuses on the conceptualization and design of media-supported teaching and learning environments. As a member of the Media Lab development team, he explores the application of digital tools within hybrid and collaborative learning spaces. He possesses extensive experience in providing media-didactic consulting, training, and support to educators.
Anna Scarcella is a scholar of language and communication studies and has been working at the Projekthaus since October 2021. As part of the Lab for Innovative Degree Program Development (LISe), she supports the development and further enhancement of degree programs, providing expert advice on innovative teaching and learning concepts. Furthermore, she is a certified Agile Coach, Scrum Master, and systemic team coach, bringing to her work extensive experience in agile methodologies, facilitation, and group moderation.
Bettina Soller holds an M.A. in American Studies and German Studies and has been working at the International Teaching Lab since September 2021. Since late 2023, she has been a member of the ProDiGI team. She is a certified coach and possesses several years of teaching and research experience, with professional stints in Germany, the Netherlands, and the USA. Her primary focus is supporting international and digital teaching at TU Braunschweig.
Kimberly Sölter is a graphic designer and has been working on the Co3Learn project since 2021; the project's mission is to foster cooperative processes in teaching and learning across the diverse spaces of the university. Kim’s work focuses primarily on design and conceptualization. Drawing on her previous professional roles, she possesses several years of experience in design and social media marketing, bringing this expertise to the project.
Derk Trei is a social scientist (M.A.) and has been with the Projekthaus since May 2025. At the Emerging Tech Lab, he works on networking EmTech Fellows, researching and analyzing emerging technologies in the fields of teaching and education, and securing speakers for presentations on this topic. Derk gained practical experience through his extensive research and teaching activities at the Institute of Comparative Politics and Public Policy, as well as at the University-Trade Union Cooperation Office for the South-East Lower Saxony Region at TU Braunschweig.
Ina van Beesel holds an M.A. in Media and Cultural Studies and has been working at the Projekthaus’s Emerging Tech Lab since 2025. With her focus on communication, culture, and societal change, she brings a critical perspective to technological development processes. Her experience in the fields of change management and organizational transformation helps to effectively embed emerging technologies—not only from a technical standpoint but also in human, strategic, and organizational terms. Ina is a certified IHK Project Manager and has been a The Loop Approach® Fellow since 2023. Her additional areas of expertise include New Work facilitation, agile and role-based working methods, and Nonviolent Communication—tools she also utilizes to support transformation processes at the team level.

Ralf Wegemann works as an Agile Coach for the *Projekthaus*, as a Scrum Master for the Media Lab, and as a member of the Stud.IP team at TU Braunschweig. He is passionate about values-based, purposeful, agile teamwork and about connecting people to contribute to a greater whole. Furthermore, he is committed to the cross-institutional application of digital tools in academic studies and teaching, as well as to the further development of teaching and learning platforms—approaching this from both a technical and a higher education pedagogical perspective—a commitment he also previously demonstrated in the *Co³Learn* project.
He studied Mechanical Engineering in Germany and Canada (earning a *Dipl.-Ing.* degree) and draws upon his diverse professional background spanning the university sector, industry, and self-employment—including experience in agile software development, conceptual and coordination roles, and corporate communications. Additionally, he is a certified systemic supervisor and coach, providing guidance for development and transformation processes as well as support for individuals navigating crisis situations.
Kristina Weissbecker holds a PhD in linguistics, specializing in psycholinguistics. Since 2026, she has been responsible for curriculum development at the Projekthaus and within the collaborative project "Campus in Transition." In this role, she collaborates with curriculum experts from the other two partner sites to design and further develop teaching and learning formats. To this end, she also engages in dialogue with various university departments—including the Legal Office and Marketing—and supports the networking and transformation processes within university teaching. Previously, she spent several years working in research and teaching, as well as in degree program coordination and development. She studied English and American Studies, as well as German Studies, at the University of Kassel.

Henrike Wenzel directs the Science & Art Lab. In addition, she organizes and facilitates various circles and projects. An art scholar (M.A.), she develops innovative formats within the Lab at the intersection of art and science—spanning the entire process from idea generation and funding to implementation—and initiates collaborations with partners from the cultural sector and the city. Furthermore, she supports strategic development processes aligned with TU Braunschweig’s strategic fields of action, guiding them from the initial concept through to their integration into the university. She has previously worked in teaching and research within the fields of art and media studies, and brings extensive experience in event and project management, science communication, and as the developer of the Creative Space DIE H_LLE. She is also the co-founder and Chair of the KUNSTVEREIN DIE H_LLE e.V.
Katharina Willems is a specialist in higher education and media didactics, with a particular focus on digital and digitally supported teaching and learning within the Media Lab. She holds a background in Media Technology and Communication (M.A.) and possesses several years of teaching and research experience at TU Braunschweig. As a member of the agile Media Lab team, Kathi is dedicated to enhancing teaching, learning, and working practices at TU Braunschweig through the application of appropriate media technologies.
Sarah Zerwas is a Transformation Designer (M.A.) and has been a member of the Projekthaus team since 2025. Guided by her credo—"Everyone can be creative"—she designs vibrant, co-creative processes and appreciative facilitation formats that foster connection and leave a lasting impact. Her expertise in storytelling, New Work, and "The Art of Gathering," combined with her experience in organizational development, change management, and teaching, make her a valuable asset to the Projekthaus Circle Team.
Her driving question is: "How can we collectively shape the university of the future?" For Sarah, one possible answer lies in embedding Transformation Design within science management. She strives to continuously experiment with formats that foster connection, to ask thought-provoking questions, and to employ effective tools.
