Hannes is a globally recognised expert and consultant in luxury brand management and marketing.
He is a Senior Research Fellow and Affiliate Lecturer at the Technical University of Braunschweig, Adjunct Professor at the International University of Monaco and external lecturer at the ESSEC Business School. He regularly teaches luxury brand management and marketing at leading universities and business schools. He is also Senior Director at The DO Group. He has worked as a consultant at the Boston Consulting Group and as Programme Director at ESMT Berlin on value creation strategies with leading global companies and luxury brands from various sectors. He is also an investor, consultant and co-founder of start-ups in the cultural and creative sectors.
Hannes studied Business Administration with Intercultural Qualification at the University of Mannheim, completed his MBA at ESSEC Business School and holds a Diploma in Saxophone Performing from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music. He completed his doctorate in luxury brand management at the Technical University of Braunschweig.
His award-winning research has been published in leading academic and practitioner publications such as Forbes, the Harvard Business Review, I by IMD, the European Business Review, the Journal of Business Research, the Journal of Advertising or Psychology & Marketing. His innovative teaching methods have also been recognised in leading international media such as the Financial Times.
