A 5 kN testing machine is available for teaching purposes. It is used for demonstration experiments in the lectures of the IAM, and for measuring fracture mechanics properties in the course "Introduction to Fracture Mechanics". It is intended to allow use of this machine by students within the project "Studierendenlabor Technische Mechanik".
