Information security incident? Data breach?

Would you like to report a security incident or data protection breach? Use the reporting form of the Chief Information Security Officer and Data Protection Officer. Alternatively, you can contact us by mail, telephone on 0531/391-55630 or the GITZ IT Service Desk on 0531/391-55555.

The Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) is responsible for the design, implementation and monitoring of the information security process.

With the participation of the IT-Security-Board (IT-SB) the CISO initiates, steers and controls the information security process, which must include measures especially for rapid crisis intervention, according to prior defined priorities. To ensure continuous control of the information security process, the IT Security Board shall meet regularly.

The CISO assumes responsibility for IT security for TU Braunschweig in the sense of an authority management and coordinates security measures in the decentralised organisational units with their security officers, respectively.

The CISO heads the IT Security Board. The IT-SB develops guidelines and regulations for the proper establishment of appropriate protective measures with regard to IT infrastructure, IT processes and data worthy of protection at TU Braunschweig.
