Participation in the International Battery Production Conference 2021

Which solid electrolytes are advantageous in terms of their environmental and socio-economic impacts for using batteries in electric aircraft? How does the substitution of primary materials by secondary materials affect the environmental and socio-economic impacts in the production of battery active materials? Two of our researchers, Alexander Barke and Jan-Linus Popien, presented and discussed their posters on these questions at the International Battery Production Conference 2021.

In addition, Prof. Dr. Spengler chaired the session Recycling & Sustainability, where he guided through exciting discussions on the recovery of graphite and the recycling of all-solid-state batteries.
