Qigong & Taiji

Qigong and Tai Chi are meditative forms of movement that combine exercises for relaxed concentration with physical and breathing exercises. Gentle and flowing movement exercises are performed to calm music. Rather than training individual muscles or muscle groups in isolation, the natural movements that run through the entire body evenly strengthen the entire musculoskeletal system and improve mobility. A sense of balance and coordination are also trained and body awareness is improved. The course focusses on Qigong and is supplemented by elements of Tai Chi.

Breathing exercises in the context of finger yoga and standing meditation also complement the course and lead to pleasant mental relaxation. The inner peace and balance experienced in the course soon carries over into everyday life:

  • Relaxation and meditation techniques for everyday (working) life
  • Harmonisation and vitalisation of physical and mental abilities
  • Improvement of well-being and health

This offer is free of charge for employees of TU Braunschweig.
