Movement

TU BS BGF

Long, concentrated sitting is part of our everyday lives, both in the office and when working on the move. One-sided strain and lack of movement can put a significant strain on the body. The consequences are often tension, headaches and fatigue. Especially the shoulder, neck and back area, but also the eyes are often affected by the consequences.

You want to do something for your health flexibly and independently? Then our videos, tips and training plans are just right for you! Here we provide you with different offers to help you stay fit and active.

On our pinboard you will find all documents to print or save digitally if you are interested.

Reminder card Move
Reminderkarte Bewegen

Does your workday sometimes go by extremely quickly, so that you only notice in the evening how little you have moved? Or do you have stressful workdays in which your movements are very monotonous, which is why you go home tense?

This printable reminder card is designed to remind you to exercise regularly:
Whether you take a short walk during your break, participate in the BreakExpress or integrate some exercises into your (work) routine in between is, of course, up to you.

Click on the reminder card, print it and place the card in a visible place in the workplace. The card is 14.8cm x 10.5cm.

Tips for everyday (work) life

Get more active and get moving with these 4 tips:

  • Position the trash can so that you have to stand up to reach it
  • Take the stairs instead of the elevator
  • Work standing in between if you have a height adjustable desk - If not:
  • Make phone calls while standing/ walking around

For the right environment and ergonomic posture, follow these 4 tips:

  • For glare-free lighting, position your screen/laptop at right angles to the window
  • The distance to the screen should be about one arm's length, with the top line of the screen slightly below the horizontal visual axis
  • Use an ergonomic mouse and wrist pad for prevention or wrist discomfort
  • Your legs and arms should be bent at a 90° angle - Adjust your chair and table height properly for this purpose

Under the following link you will find a practical quick calculator to determine your optimal table and chair height. In addition, an infographic offers a lot of important information on the topic of "ergonomic sitting".

Take advantage of helpful tips to make working from home the best it can be:

For more sport, exercise and fun - whether in the office or at the mobile workplace - the  BreakExpress is perfect!
