Social Media

Technische Universität Braunschweig has official accounts on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram and LinkedIn. These accounts are moderated by the Communication and Press Service. If you would like to spread your news via these official channels, please contact us.

There is also the possibility of taking over our Instagram channel. In this case, you "take over" the account @tu.braunschweig for a limited period of time and share your experiences of studying, teaching, research or the campus from your perspective. In this way, you will primarily reach students and prospective students of TU Braunschweig, but also alumni, staff and the general public. We have prepared a takeover guide for this purpose. Please feel free to contact us if you are interested.

In addition, many TU Braunschweig facilities, institutes and student initiatives are active in social media. The university welcomes these independent social media presences. It is important that universities are also represented here, inform, explain and engage in dialogue with society.

It doesn't matter whether you post via the official TU Braunschweig channels or via your own channels: Use our Social Media Guidelines in the section Tips on Science and University Communication to help you with the professional use of social media for your institution.

If there are any questions beyond this, please do not hesitate to contact us.
